The AS PTA program at Northwest Florida State College is currently pursuing accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

All PTA technical courses are held at the Fort Walton Beach Campus and students are assigned to clinical practices at various healthcare facilities and outpatient clinics in the region.
