PHT 1224 - Therapeutic Techniques and Disabilities 3 Credit Hours (Fall)
An overview of principles and techniques of basic physical therapy interventions, with emphasis on physiological changes and effects in commonly seen disorders across the lifespan. Will include therapeutic exercises, gait training with assistive devices, manual therapy, postural analysis, aerobic conditioning and airway clearance techniques. This course requires a grade of C or higher. Co-requisite PHT 1224L .
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Physical Therapy Program.
