MLT 1401C - Medical Microbiology 6 Credit Hours (Fall)
This course presents students with principles and methods used in clinical microbiology including taxonomy, isolation, identification, clinical relevance, and antibiotic susceptibility testing of pathogenic bacteria. Students will also receive an introduction to medical parasitology, mycology, and virology. This course requires a grade of C or higher. Pre-requisite MCB 2010C . This course requires a lab fee.
Prerequisite(s): MCB 2010C and admittance to the Medical Laboratory Technology program.
