(Fall, Spring, Summer)

This course trains students on blood collection techniques through venipuncture and capillary puncture. Students will learn best safety practices, infection control, specimen processing, basic anatomy and physiology, and patient relations. Part of this course includes a clinical internship. This course is part of the phlebotomy certificate program.
