SPC2300 Interpersonal Communication -

3 Credit Hours

(Fall, Spring)

This course studies the speech communication principles involved in one-to-one interaction, comprehensive listening, conflict resolution, family and group communication and intrapersonal thought. Learning techniques may include small group participation, role play, as well as formal and informal presentations. Course readings will be derived from the western canon. In addition and to the extent possible, the course will provide instruction on the historical background and philosophical foundation of western civilization and the American democracy.
