AS Degree General Education Requirements

Communications Skills (3 credits required):
Communications courses meet the Gordon Rule (FAC Rule 6A-10.030) writing requirements. Credits earned in these courses at NWFSC or by transfer that are applicable towards the AA general education requirement shall be based on a minimum grade of “C.” Humanities (3 credits required):
Humanities courses meet the Gordon Rule (FAC Rule 6A-10.030) writing requirements. Credits earned in these courses at NWFSC or by transfer that are applicable towards the A.A. general education requirement shall be based on a minimum grade of “C.” Mathematics (3 credits required):
Mathematics courses meet the Gordon Rule (FAC Rule 6A-10.030) mathematics requirements. Credits earned in these courses at NWFSC or by transfer that are applicable towards the A.A. general education requirement shall be based on a minimum grade of “C.” Science (4 credits required):
