This course provides students with foundational skills and knowledge required for effective clinical support in ambulatory healthcare settings, which includes hands-on training in assisting physicians with physical examinations, treatments, and minor surgical procedures.

Prerequisite(s): HCP0001 Basic Healthcare Worker -  90 Clock Hours/3 Vocational Credits  

MEA0002 Introduction to Medical Assisting -  250 Clock Hours/8.35 Vocational Credits  

MEA0501 Medical Assisting Office Procedures -  75 Clock Hours/3.5 Vocational Credits
