This course prepares students for a career as an EKG Technician by developing the practical skills and knowledge necessary in clinical settings. Students will learn to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) with accurate lead placement, properly prepare patients, including those with special needs, and recognize common artifacts and equipment-related issues to ensure reliable test results.
