MEA0521 Phlebotomy for Medical Assisting - 75 Clock Hours/2.5 Vocational Credits

This hands-on course prepares students with the skills needed for entry-level work in phlebotomy and provides foundational training for Medical Assistants involved in intravenous therapy. Students will learn proper specimen collection techniques through venipuncture and capillary puncture. The course also emphasizes infection control, safety procedures, and effective patient communication to ensure professional and accurate care.
