Upon successful completion of this program, students will demonstrate technical skills and knowledge regarding: 1. Fire service, fire alarms and communication. 2. Vehicles, apparatus and equipment. 3. Fire behavior, portable extinguishers, fire streams, extinguishment, ladders, hoses, tools and equipment. 4. Forcible entry, salvage, overhaul, ventilation, rescue, protective breathing equipment, first responder emergency medical techniques, water supplies. 5. Principles of in-service inspections, safety, controlled burning, and employability skills.
