For the SAAT degree, the following courses are required
Communication Skills: course – English Composition I, 3 Credit Hours*
Communication Skills: course – English Composition II, 3 Credit Hours*
Core Humanities: student choice, 3 Credit Hours*
General or Core Humanities: student choice, 3 Credit Hours*
Core Mathematics: course – Calculus I, 4 Credit Hours*
General or Core Mathematics: course - Calculus II, 4 Credit Hours*
Biological Sciences: student choice, 4 Credit Hours**
Physical Sciences: course – College Chemistry, 4 Credit Hours**
Behavioral Social Sciences: student choice, 3 Credit Hours***
History/Government Social Sciences: course – American History I, or course – American History II, or course – American Government, 3 Credit Hours***
Additional General Education Credits: course – Calculus III, 4 credit hours
Additional General Education Credits: course – Differential Equations, 3 credit hours
* A grade of C or better is required to meet FAC Rule 6A-10.030
**One or both of the Biological or Physical Sciences must be a Core course.
***One or both of the Social Sciences must be a Core course. If AMH 2010, AMH 2020, or POS 1041 are taken, these courses will also count toward the Civic Literacy requirement.
Total Required General Education Credit Hours: 41
A minimum of 6 credit hours must be earned in one foreign language at the college level, or successful completion of two sequential credits in high school foreign language, or an appropriate score on an approved CLEP examination.
In consultation with an Academic Advisor, select appropriate A.A. degree college credit electives that fulfill your SAAT Degree Concentration for your University Transfer Major:
