Students who successfully complete this certificate may be eligible to receive credits toward the programThe Business Specialist ‚ Human Resources College Credit Certificate provides students with foundational knowledge and practical skills required for entry-level positions in human resources and personnel administration. This certificate emphasizes essential HR functions, including employee recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluation, workplace communication, and employee relations. Students gain an understanding of how effective HR practices support organizational goals, employee satisfaction, and legal compliance within todays business environment.

Through Management (MAN2021) and Personnel Management (MAN2300), students develop an understanding of supervisory responsibilities, motivation strategies, staffing processes, and the managerial principles that guide human resource operations. Business Communications (OST2335) strengthens students professional communication abilities, including business writing, interpersonal interactions, and the use of communication technologies. Customer Service (MNA1161) reinforces service excellence, problem-solving, and relationship-building‚ skills essential for supporting employees and internal stakeholders in HR roles.

This certificate is designed for students seeking immediate employment in human resources support positions or for individuals currently working in business environments who wish to enhance their HR competencies.
