1. Demonstrate proficiency in legal research, analysis, and writing. Students will locate, interpret, and apply legal authority using appropriate research tools and produce clear, accurate legal documents such as memoranda, briefs, pleadings, and correspondence.

2. Apply legal principles and procedures across multiple areas of law. Students will explain and utilize substantive and procedural concepts in civil litigation, torts, criminal law, family law, probate, real estate, and business law to support attorneys effectively in case preparation and client matters.

3. Exhibit professional conduct and ethical responsibility in legal settings. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the ethical guidelines governing paralegals, maintain confidentiality, communicate professionally with clients and legal professionals, and perform tasks within the appropriate scope of paralegal practice.
