MAT 0022 - Developmental Mathematics Combined 6 Credit Hours (Fall, Spring, Summer)
A course designed to satisfy the requirements of both MAT0018 and MAT0028 in one semester and prepare students for MAT1033A. Topics to be studied include computations with decimals, percents, integers, operations with rational and polynomial expressions, linear equations and inequalities in one variable, factoring, and basic linear graphing. This course will teach the student to understand and communicate concepts of algebra in the language of mathematics, both orally and written. Due to the nature of this course, calculators are not permitted.
Prerequisite(s): PERT score 50-95 or ACT/SAT equivalent.
