EET 2215C - Industrial Electronics Test & Measurement Instrumentation

(Fall, Spring)

This is an introductory course into the application, operation, and maintenance of industrial electronic test and measurement instrumentation used in manufacturing. Equipment covered will be DMMs, oscilloscopes with probes, function generators and analyzers, logic analyzers, and complete instrument systems to include automatic test equipment (ATE). Also covered in this course is terminology common to industrial instrumentation, error probabilities, degree of accuracy required, units, and standards used for reporting raw and analyzed results. Both standard and metric measurements will be covered.
