EET 2190C - Industrial Electronics 3 Credit Hours (Fall, Spring)
This course investigates the applications of electronic and electrical systems common to industrial processes. The concepts and applications for polyphase circuits and three phase power will be explored and how they apply to industrial electrical power conditioning and management. The use of Computer Management Integration (CMI) and how they relate to industrial electronics will also be covered. Applications will include testing and troubleshooting industrial mechanical electronic circuits, analyzing industrial electronics and contributing systems failures to establish a maintenance plan, and evaluate the need for replacement, overhaul, and or upgrading of industrial electronic equipment. Safety will be covered and stressed throughout the course.
