ETD 2219 - Advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing 4 Credit Hours (Offered as needed)
An advanced course in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing using the geometric method nationally accepted according to ASMEY 14.5M. Topics covered include: definitions and terms, symbols, datum referencing, locational tolerancing, form tolerancing, profile tolerancing, orientation and runout tolerancing, math for positional tolerancing, quality assurance methods and techniques, and manufacturing methods and techniques.
Prerequisite(s): ETD 2218 or equivalent.
