HIM 2283C - Advanced Coding for Medical Records

Advanced instruction in coding/ICD-10-CM diagnoses, and procedures in ICD-10-CM and CPT both manually and automated. Provides sequencing guidelines and rules and regulations in both the hospital and physician office setting. Introduces the student to Ambulatory Payment Classifications (APCs) and Diagnostic Related Groups (DRGs).
