MLT 1401C - Medical Microbiology 6 Credit Hours (Fall)
This course presents students with principles and methods used in clinical microbiology including taxonomy, isolation, identification, clinical relevance, and antibiotic susceptibility testing of pathogenic bacteria. Students will also receive an introduction to medical parasitology, mycology, and virology. Admittance to the MLT program is required. This course requires a grade of C or higher. This course requires a lab fee.
Prerequisite(s): MCB 2010C - Microbiology, Allied Health with a grade of C or higher , Admittance to the MLT program
