The Medical Laboratory Technology program at NWFSC is currently seeking accreditation through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS).

Graduation from a medical laboratory technology program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science is necessary for eligibility to sit for all national certification exams and for Florida licensure. Submission of an accreditation application does not assure that the program will be granted accreditation status. In order to be considered for accreditation, the first cohort of students must fully complete the two year program. This cohort will be allowed to sit for certification exams when the college achieves NAACLS serious candidate status prior to their graduation.
