EET 1015C - Electricity/Electronics I, DC Circuits 3 Credit Hours (Spring)
This course introduces the theories, concepts, and relationships of voltage, current, and power in DC series, parallel, and series/parallel circuits containing common circuit elements with single and multiple sources. Students are introduced to Ohm’s Law, Kirchoff’s voltage and current Laws, Thevenin, Norton’s, super-position, and maximum transfer of power theorems and their uses in DC circuit analysis. Students will learn how to use a digital multimeter to troubleshoot and analyze DC circuits.
