Emphasis is placed on the full acquisition lifecycle, from planning and solicitation to contract award, administration, and closeout. Students will examine the critical factors that influence acquisition decisions, including supply and demand dynamics, cost management, quality assurance, and quantity control. The course also explores techniques for negotiation, cost-benefit analysis, and life-cycle cost estimation, ensuring that acquisition outcomes align with organizational goals.
