1) To increase painting and design ability through demonstration, instruction and practice in the medium of watercolor.
2) To increase awareness of past and present watercolor painting styles and techniques, and to encourage original ideas and the exploration of new directions.
3) Through demonstration, to illustrate fundamental styles and techniques of watercolor painting; through practice, to gain confidence using the medium; and through exploration, to experiment with original ideas and techniques.
4) To broaden one’s utilization color, texture positive and negative spaces, form and line through demonstration and practice using the media of watercolor.
