1) Managerial Accounting teaches students how managers utilize accounting information to make business decisions while also developing problem-solving skills.

2) Students will learn about job order costing and understand how costs flow through the accounting system in this area.

3) Students will become familiar with the components of the master budget and learn how to prepare an operating budget.

4) Students will interpret cash flows from operating, investing, and financing activities.

5) Students will explore the purposes of horizontal, vertical, and ratio analyses, and learn to interpret the results of financial analyses effectively.
