Dental Assisting (PSAV)
The Dental Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted accreditation status of approval without reporting requirements. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education. Law Enforcement (PSAV)
The following NWF State College instructional programs are certified by the Florida Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission (CJSTC) through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). The programs underwent a re-accreditation review process in 2015 and were all re-certified for a five (5) year period. The Welding Technology program is accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research as a Journey-level Professional Welder. The program’s accreditation was most recently awarded during February 2014 and re-evaluation occurs every three years.
