Program Description

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Management and Supervision prepares students to lead people, projects, and organizational operations across a wide range of industries. Grounded in both theory and application, the program equips students with the managerial, analytical, and communication skills essential for success in today’s dynamic and competitive business environment.

Throughout the program, students examine core concepts in management philosophy and practice, organizational behavior, business law, financial and economic decision-making, strategic planning, and marketing strategy. Courses such as Law and Business (BUL3320) and Financial and Economic Management (FIN4402) build a strong foundation in the legal and fiscal contexts that shape organizational operations. Business and Administrative Communication (GEB3213) strengthens professional communication competencies, while Management Philosophy and Practice (MAN3052) and Organizational Behavior (MAN3240) emphasize motivating teams, supervising employees, and understanding workplace dynamics.

Advanced coursework in Strategic Planning and Management (MAN4720) and Marketing Strategy (MAR4333) enables students to analyze organizational challenges, formulate long-term plans, and position products and services for competitive advantage. Through these integrated experiences, students learn to evaluate problems critically, make data-informed decisions, and lead diverse teams with confidence and ethical responsibility.

The program concludes with Capstone Management (MAN4940), where students apply management and supervision skills to real-world business situations, interact with industry professionals, and complete a comprehensive applied project.
