The Phlebotomy program offers comprehensive training encompassing didactic education, hands-on practice, and clinical experience to prepare students for a career as certified phlebotomy technicians. Students will gain expertise in venipuncture techniques, blood collection procedures, specimen handling, and patient interaction. By completing the program, students will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification exam.

Students will be expected to undergo a background check and drug screen and provide require immunization records for the attendance requirements of the clinical rotation through local hospitals. Additionally, to be eligible for the National Healthcareer Association Phlebotomy Technician certification exam, students must be at least 18 years old and provide a copy of their high school transcripts or equivalent documentation.
