PHT 2162L - Neurological Disabilities and Treatment Lab

This lab course allows the practice and refinement of the concepts learned in PHT 2162 on simulated patients. Clinical scenarios that require critical thinking skills to develop treatment, progress and follow-up plans for patients with various neurological conditions. Students will also learn about various assessment techniques including sensory, balance and coordination, reflexes, gait analysis, functional and environmental assessment, and perceptual and cognitive deficit assessment. This course requires a lab fee.
