EDF 1005A - Introduction to the Teaching Profession (Early Childhood Education)

A study of the history, philosophy, and social context of education. The course will help the student think critically about the process of education and their role as an educator.During an eighteen hour field experience, the student will observe and participate in an early childhood educational setting. An additional fingerprinting cost may be associated with this course. If used to meet state prerequisite requirements for entry into the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education program, this course requires a minimum grade of “C.”
