HIM 2272  - Healthcare Reimbursement

(Summer)

Emphasis on billing regulations for the State of Florida.  Course content includes LMRPS, Workers’ Compensation laws, Florida Medicare, and claims for automobile accident injuries.

Prerequisite(s): HIM 2253  and HIM 2724  are required.  Knowledge of basic computer and keyboarding skills are strongly recommended. Prerequisites with minimum passing grade: D
