NUR 4827C - Nursing Leadership and Management 5 Credit Hours (Fall, Spring)
This course provides students with an evidence-based study of leadership, collaboration, and coordination in healthcare settings. Students develop an evidence based paper to deal with key leadership and management issues related to professional goals. The nursing leadership and management experiential learning component focuses on the roles and functions of the professional nurse in these roles. Issues associated with healthcare delivery are explored. The experiential learning component provides an opportunity to plan, implement and evaluate a change in the practice of nursing.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 4165 ,NUR 4615C and continued compliance with the clinical screening platform.
