Dance Conditioning
Course Description
Designed for beginning and intermediate dancers, this course focuses on developing muscular strength, flexibility, alignment, and overall physical preparedness for dance. Students engage in conditioning practices drawn from Pilates, yoga, somatic techniques, and strength training using resistance bands and light weights. Emphasis is placed on injury prevention, body awareness, and functional movement efficiency. May be taken up to four (4) times for credit.
