HSA2200 Community Health Issues - 3 Credit Hours

This course examines the key factors influencing community health and the prevention and control of diseases through organized efforts and available resources. Students will explore national safety standards, regulatory guidelines, and risk management practices in healthcare. The course also covers strategies for reducing medical errors, the role of healthcare professionals in emergency response, and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) usage. Through interactive modules, case studies, and discussions, students will develop essential skills to promote patient and community safety in diverse healthcare settings.
