ACG2071 Managerial Accounting - 3 Credit Hours

In this course, students will develop a thorough understanding of managerial accounting, specifically focusing on its role in analyzing and interpreting essential financial information. The curriculum highlights the significance of managerial accounting as a vital resource for managers, providing them with the insights necessary to make informed decisions in areas such as planning, operational control, and strategic development. Students will engage with key topics, including budgeting, which involves crafting detailed financial plans; forecasting, where future financial trends are predicted; and performance metrics, used to assessorganizational efficiency and success
Prerequisite(s): ACG 2011 is required, and knowledge of basic computer and keyboarding skills are strongly recommended. Prerequisites with minimum passing grade: C
