A comprehensive study of contrasting philosophies of management, management and supervision theory, as well as current trends and issues for business managers. This course focuses on development of competencies across all management functions. It also covers the interpersonal and cultural dynamics involved in managing teams and organizations. Emphasis is placed on the cross-functional aspects of management, a general business perspective, and building managerial career readiness. This course requires a minimum grade of “C”.
